The very first review of my bike

My daily life and workload pushed me to slow down the rythm of my bike project.
Until we had this discussion with Velovert Mag, in January 2019
They asked me a bike for a review. The goal was to make this for a special edition about the French bicycle industry.

DEAL ACCEPTED

I decided to build a second frame with improvements over the first frame prototype.
Some changes on the layup, a hole for the dropper post, a new yoke, and a more reliable cable routing were on the short list of my plan.
It was also the opportunity to select better components, and build my ultimate trail bike.

I started laying up the frame in March 2019, and had the frame complete end of May.

The first frame being used for almost a year, I realized the varnish didn’t last.
I had this idea to rebuild the first frame from the ground up.
This was the opportunity to try making a colored frame.
With multiple color scheme tested on photoshop, I choose a green as a main color with a yellow re-designed logo.

This bike review was a good opportunity to have feedback from a journalist who also ride tons of bikes.

Si I decided to spend an extra cash in these new Helm forks from Cane Creek, dropper posts form bike Yoke, a bunch of Hope components, and my bikes were ready to hit the trails, again.

This time, this was with an extra pressure waiting for the bike to be reviewed...😥

This was a hard work having this complete for end of June.

But I finally hit the deadline for the bike delivery.
This was the opportunity to visit the mag in Paris. Nice to see where these guys work surrounded of bikes and components !!!
Well, nothing else to do than waiting the end of July.... to read the verdict

So HAPPY !
What’s next ?? No one knows 😉
